Post-doc position (i.e., recently finished and/or nearing completion of PhD candidacy)

The Centre for Sustainability Management (CSM) at the Faculty of Sustainability has a vacancy for the following position (full-time) initially limited for a period of 5 years:

Post-Doctoral Researcher in the field of sustainable business (EG 13 TV-L).

Your tasks:

  • Publishing in international, peer-reviewed journals
  • Initiative for and collaboration on research project proposals
  • Teaching (4 semester hours per week)
  • Support of teaching and research
  • Collaboration in the context of different chair activities (e.g. cooperation with PhD students)
  • Own further scientific qualification (e.g. habilitation)

Your profile:

  • Completed academic university studies (e.g. economics, business administration, environmental sciences, psychology, …).
  • At the time of starting the position, you have completed your PhD or are at least at an advanced stage of completing your PhD in the field sustainable business or a related research field
  • Interest in at least one of the following topics: Corporate Sustainability Management; Sustainable Consumption, Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
  • Strong interest and commitment to scholarly publishing
  • Independence, organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in and interest in quantitative research methods is an advantage
