Dear fellow NBS researchers and, specifically, dear fellow PhD students,
We have launched the first Sustainability PhDs Community, open to all PhD students whose interest lies at the interception between organizations and the natural environment.
We are already more than 110 members from all over the world!
We think that now, more than ever, it is important for young researchers to not feel isolated and to keep and develop relationships with peers. For these reasons, with the support of the ONE Division of Academy of Management and of GRONEN, we would like to create a community among PhD students working on topics related with organizations and the natural environment.
The aim is to provide feedback on each other’s work, get to know each other, find new collaborations, share opportunities and initiatives relevant for our field, find new conference buddies and build long-lasting relationships.
Our next event is on the 10th of July, at 10 am EST. We will have four of our members presenting their work, followed by breakout rooms to participate in the discussions. The meetings are held virtually through Zoom.
We will meet once a month, so that most of us will have the opportunity to present the work. It is a space self-organised by students. Faculty will be involved for special sessions such as “Meet the editor” and “Navigating the Job Market”.
If you are interested in joining this active, passionate and motivated community, please, fill out this form and we will contact you soon with more details!
Feel free to share this initiative with other PhD students who might be interested in joining.
Hoping to meet you soon!
Lucrezia (PhD Candidate at ESADE Business School) and Simone (PhD Candidate at University of Padua)
