Invite to mentor sustainability-oriented students

The Centre for Building Sustainable Value at Ivey Business School is looking for practitioners or practice-oriented researchers to mentor our incoming cohort of HBA Sustainability Certificate students.

The Certificate was launched in 2009 to empower students and provide them with the skills and connections to lead and build sustainable organizations. This year we welcomed our largest cohort yet of 45 students into the program. Starting in September, these students will take business sustainability courses, attend events, and engage with mentors.

Mentors from all backgrounds are welcome. Mentorship is key to the certificate and we believe it will be a mutually beneficial experience for both students and mentors. The time commitment will be about 6 hours total and will kick off with 1-1 welcome calls this summer, followed by 5 or 6 check-in calls between September and March, all of which can be done via Skype or phone.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or want more information, please contact Julia Bevacqua (jbevacqua@ivey.ca).
