**Please register for our next virtual meeting on May 6th, 2021, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm Eastern Time . We will discuss the theme “ Creating Impact through Teaching and Learning ”.
We dedicate the next Impact Scholar Community event to the opportunities and challenges of creating impact through teaching and learning. We live in turbulent and complicated times, and business schools are not immune to the uncertainties that afflict our social and economic lives. Business schools often describe their mission as educating leaders, yet at the same time, many think the world is experiencing a leadership crisis that contributes to societal and environmental problems. Criticism of today’s leaders poses questions for early-career scholars at business schools teaching students who are or will become leaders of organizations with the capacity to impact stakeholders and social, environmental, and economic systems. What are our roles as educators? Do we educate a new generation of managers to be more socially responsible? If yes, how? Which stakeholders matter most, and how do we prioritize? The Community’s next event answers these questions and more on impact through teaching.
