EFFORT (EFFectiveness Of Responsibility Teaching) is a cooperative project that aims to improve the effectiveness of teaching that is targeted at building competencies related to sustainability and responsible management. The three-year project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. It involves universities from five European countries (Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain) and is guided by Prof. Dr. Silke Bustamante from Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (Berlin School of Economics and Law).
Within the framework of the project several instruments that support Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to increase the effectiveness and quality of their sustainability-, ethics- and/or CSR-related teaching will be developed. Those include for example a survey tool that enables them to control the effectiveness of the teaching applied at their institutions, three new and innovative teaching formats as well as a handbook on currently existing innovative courses.
One of the expected results from this project is an Innovative Teaching Methods Handbook.
The handbook will provide a structured overview of innovative methods of teaching CSR-and sustainability-related courses, which is aiming to make responsibility teaching easier and more innovative.
If you are using innovative methods in your teaching, there is a unique opportunity to contribute to our EFFORT Handbook of innovative teaching methods.
Please send an email to Alena and Marina if you are interested to publish in our handbook, which will be freely available (as request per the Erasmus+ guidelines): email@example.com & firstname.lastname@example.org
