The Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management at McGill University is hiring an academic associate to lead program development and teach within our Integrated Management Fellows Program. The new hire will be a sustainability expert with an emphasis on teaching design and implementing projects. It’s a part-time one-year appointment (20 hours per week) beginning as early as July 1 with the potential for renewal at full time if the program scales.
Student fellows (BComs and MBAs) are currently paid to work alongside faculty on impact- and practice- oriented experiential learning projects. Typically they’re research, teaching tool development and outreach activities. This September a group of about 40-50 students will continue with this model. A smaller cohort (10-15 BComs) will concurrently participate in a for-credit pilot (2x 3 credit courses over both the fall and winter terms). Students will still contribute on the faculty project (100-120 hrs per semester) but will also be lead through a process to develop and implement their own initiative/action to respond to sustainability imperatives here in Montreal (100-120 hrs per semester).
